Colton Metzger earned both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. After graduating with his Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education he moved to Morgantown, WV to begin his career in higher education. He was previously a Financial Aid Counselor before transitioning into his current role. Colton has over five years of experience in higher education and has focused his research on the integration and development of college students from non-traditional families. Colton is a passionate advocate for all marginalized identities and ensures every student feels welcome and safe in their advising environment.
I have always been passionate about helping people and advising students. My personal hobbies include traveling, trying new things/foods, and learning about anything and everything I can!
