High School Graduates

In order to be admitted to the RBA program, you must have graduated from high school at least four years prior to enrolling. For example, a student graduating from high school in June, 2006 would be eligible for admission to the Regents program beginning July, 2010.

GED Students

Students who have passed a high school equivalency examination are eligible for admission four years after their high school class graduated.

Transfer Students

Students may transfer into the RBA program from other institutions or from other majors within WVU if they meet the requirements outlined above. For more information on transfer eligibility requirements, please contact our advisors at or 304-293-5441.

NOTE: Students cannot double major with the Regents Bachelor of Arts degree. Students with accredited baccalaureate degrees are not eligible for the Regents Bachelor of Arts degree.

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA at the time of transfer to be accepted into the program. Students will also be accepted into the RBA program with under a 2.0 GPA if their GPA will be elevated above the minimum after RBA “F” forgiveness is applied.
